Doubled security at Boston Marathon includes soldiers, checkpoints

BOSTON, MA –This year’s Boston Marathon was the subject of unprecedented levels of policing. The 26.2 mile track from Hopkinton to Boston was enclosed in a “ring of steel” — where public streets were littered with checkpoints, cameras, and police dogs. Military helicopters whirred overhead as soldiers, federal agents, and local cops scrutinized anyone carrying a purse or a bag.

While some “journalists” would have you believe the biggest stories of 2013 were about twerking celebrities and over-hyped real-life courtroom sagas, much bigger events were happening with far more lasting national significance. The foundation of an American police state is already laid and making its existence known, while most of the country remains blissfully focused on sports, reality shows, establishment pseudo-news, and other distractions.

Cleveland celebrates New Year’s Eve with full body patdowns on the public square

CLEVELAND, OH — City officials invited residents to bring in the new year in a hyper-controlled gathering in Cleveland’s Public Square. People were told that for entering the square they would be subjected to a “full inspection of your person” and “a complete pat down.” Checkpoints were conducted to detect a list of prohibited items so long that would make a prison guard blush.

EL PASO, TX — An American woman was humiliated and sexually assaulted for hours when she tried to re-enter the United States at a checkpoint manned by U.S. border patrol agents. Suspecting she had drugs inside her orifices, the federal agents detained her, chained her to a table, and subjected her to a series of invasive and traumatic cavity searches, finger penetration, scans and X-rays… all without a warrant. She was then billed for the “services.”
